Someone in San Diego willing to meet with me?

Ok – I am hoping to find someone in SD that I can meet up with sometime soon and talk about, ride in and possibly drive their evo. I have been to the dealership and I'm sick of knowing more about the cars than the pretentious salesmen, I'm sick of not being able to look @ the cars details without the salesman, and I don’t want to have to ding my credit to drive it. I would love to see and learn about the car before I go to buy it.

Straight up, I'm 30 years old- and I'm a responsible, normal guy. I just landed a very very nice job, so I'm going to reward myself with a new car. I have driven the 350 z, the rx8, and a mustang cobra. I know deep down I want the evo, so I really want the opportunity to lean the car. Ill buy a beer or 6 for your trouble, or let you bake the tires down in my mustang, pay for your gas, In-n-out… Whatever. I had a kid ask me the same thing about my GT not to long ago, and I was happy to help. I hope I can find the same.

Any takers?

Thanks guys.

Scot

Try RNR Racing. They are located in El Cajon and Ryan is a good guy Im sure he would talk to about the Evo.

hahah- I was through because I don’t wanna weird anyone out, and to show that I'm not some 16 year old tire kicker.
And I don’t like kids.

I'll hook you up but I'm 45minutes north of San Diego. I'm free most of the day on Saturday but you will have to come here. (Temecula/Murrieta).

If your coming from a mustang you might like the Z better. try socalevo.net (they have SD meets all the time) or RNR. Ryan is the man, I dont think he'll let you drive his ride cause it isn't even close to stock, but he might.

I’m coming from a mustang because I HATE it.. Really hate it.

My good friend has a Z- I’ve drove it quite a bit. I really like it, but I want to get a good feel for the Evo. I’ll try RNR last.. I know I need a stocker to check out.
I don't want to just jump in and buy the car without getting to know it and comparing a lot. That’s what heppend with my mustang.. and I will be getting rid of it and I don't even have my tags yet. I'm trying to be smart about it- and saving the best for last.

Thanks for the replies.
