Jamie,
So if I send in my 05 MR ECU to WORKS, you would be able to flash it with the P2R?

Yes, the 05 P2R has been finalized and WORKS has been loading that software onto ECUs for a couple of weeks

This is tempting

I am seriously fighting the urge to mess with my perfectly running 05 EVO....but I think I am going to get this 05 flash too. I am just not sure which one P1 P2 xyz??? for a stock EVO.

Many of your options are very appealing, and since you are in Kulifornia I can't think of a better road trip than to the bay.

I heard that on a Dynapack, the MR put down 232WHP, then with a P2 it gained 20WHP peak, but as high as 35 WHP in certain areas of the curve.

With my P2 I put down 232.4hp / 251.6tq on my 2003. Can't say I was overwhelmed, but it's better than stock, and the torque curve always helps. Interestingly, I did not see that 4k rpm torque hole so many people experience with the P2.

Edit: also, is the P2 software updated at all, or is the launch control set up the only change?

No and I don't have multiple personalities. As long as people are happy with 20 psi till redline and the gains associated with it I am fine with what Works offers. I only bash some of the conjecture that goes on with the area under the curve proclamation. On pump gas Works is alright IMO and makes decent power that will satisfy most people. Would still be a customer if products would of been there when i was ready to move up from the WR 303 pkg. They do have some definite strengths as a company and that is why they are still prospering.
