WORKS Clutch kit

What is the torque capacity of your clutches. I am going to be upgrading my turbo to a GT30R sometime next year. I want something that will hold with out slipping. I would like to stay with a single disc clutch if possible.

Thanks

Holding capacities are noted on the store site, the C2 would be the one to use.

That is the one I am looking at. I am just hoping that WORKS tested these clutches and knows what the torque capacity is. I would also like to know the pressure plate clamping force too.

ii I know that the stock unit has been able to hold over 300 ft. Lb. Works best single disk will hold 115% over stock, more than enough grab to break the other parts in your drive train. They know the capacities, they design thier own products. If you look you will be hard pressed to find complaints about the quality or suitability of thier products from thier customers.

The CK2 is in the WORKS car right now and has been for a number of miles. I drove it on the Streets of Willow a couple of weeks ago and it was working quite well. Especially considering we were running two of the three run groups (meaning an hour of running with a half hour cool down instead of a half hour of racing with an hour cool down) amongst five drivers. The pedal pressure is almost identical to stock while the bite is much more

Is this with your upgraded turbo kit?

Considering the amount of magazine beatings and track days / rally crosses you guys do, I'd say the CK2 is holding up quite well. And yep, that is with the ATP 3071.

The CK2 installed at least till the end of Jan. is $1599 including parts, labor, and tax.

It does not include our Spin lightened aluminum flywheel (last flywheel you'll ever have to buy) but does include resurfacing your existing stock flywheel.

Call Chris (Service Manager) if you have any other questions or would like to schedule an appointment.
