Turbo upgrades w/ p2
Would it be neccesary to re-flash the p2 to upgrade to a TME 6.5 turbo or just the 10.5 housing and larger o2 housing.

I don't believe Works has a re-flash currently for either.

To fully optimize the new setup, a new flash would probably be needed. WORKS is planning on aquiring and testing these turbos shortly and should have the appropriate flashes available afterwards.

I would like to see dyno plots using the TME and p2 on an other wise stock Evolution! Perhaps some runs incorporating the Works cams.

Bump for an update. Does WORKS have a flash for a 10.5 hotside yet? I'm considering this mod.

Alot of people who don't want the lag of a bigger turbo but would like some more power are looking into the 10.5 exaust housing.

I'm interested.

I figure since WORKS already has a P2 flash out for the 05s, they should have a map for the 10.5 hotside pretty much figured out.

Is the power band in the MR different from the GSR or RS with the P2?

It shoudln't be. The only thing different between the MR and the GSR/RS is the tranny. The powerband should be the same. The gearing will be different.

Then what do you mean about the 05's and having the 10.5 hotside fiqured out? Do they have a different turbo the the 04 &03's?
