05s have a 10.5 cm hotside. I believe that previously, 03 and 04s had a 9.8 cm hotside. Wait for the IXs new compressor housing, it's huge!

Haven't you seen the articles? Look on Mitsubishi Japan's site, I think they have a picture comparing the two.

is there any tread discussing the IX turbo in detail? What exactly will the larger compressor housing do? More boost, more flow, less lag?
