Tyler

Thanks, the reason that I'm asking is that I haven't found the "how to" instructions on your site and I want to walk thru it before I do it.

Thanks

BTW, I got the downpipe and brake lines today. Next week I will probably do the ECU, Stealth muffler and the throttle body. The Downpipe doesn't look too bad. One scuff mark at the end where it connects to the O2 housing. The only complaint is that there was no parts list of what was included with the DP. And I'm assuming that this doesn't get a doughnut gasket. Anyway, I will do a search.

I've been considering the P2 flash as my next mod also.

The 70mm DP utilizes the OEM donut gasket. You should have gotten a hardware kit that includes two bolts for the housing and two nuts for the hangers. An OEM gasket should be in there for the connection at the cat as well. Let us know if you have any other questions.

Yeah

How about shipping instructions for the ECU? So that I can get P2 installed. I will check your web site and if I can't find them, I will give you a call in the am.

Uhhh, I found the shipping instructions. I will be calling you guys in the am.

Hey

I just sent off my ECU. I am ordering the following Works items right now:
  1. P2
  2. Stealth muffler
  3. Drop air filter
  4. 70mm Down pipe
  5. brake lines
Next will be the throttle body and 264/264 or 269/269 cams. Then that will be it for power. I won't make as much power as I could, but it will make for a sweet all around street cruiser.

Then I will finish installing the amps for my audio system. I have to make it neat and cut out the mounting board and etc. So I'm in no rush.

Okay

I had the following installed today:
  1. Works P2
  2. Works brake lines
  3. Works Air filter
  4. Works down pipe
Initial driving opinon, from where I had it installed to home was that it's "okay," that being said I didn't get on it, but I did notice that I had plenty of power on tap in 5th gear. Power was just a "mash" on the throttle away. Anyway I like it so far. However I really like the Works Brake lines. With them on I'm able to get repeatable response from my brakes. Anyway, my car is down again I had to send out my muffler to get converted to a "Stealth" muffler. Hopefully, I can get it back by this Friday, but if not, next week will "Works."

My Works P2 Flash Dyno Results

I didn't do a baseline dyno. So who knows what I was putting down stock. Anyway, the dyno session was done yesterday at Tuning Technologies. I did 3 pulls with AFR's and it cost me a $100.00. The mods to the car are;

Works P2 flash
Works High flow air filter
Works 2.5" Down pipe
Works Stealth Muffler

Results:
  1. Run 1: 272.82 WHP, 291.43 Torque
  2. Run 2: 268.01 WHP, 281.07 Torque
  3. Run 1: 275.84 WHP, 272.86 Torque
There was indictions of knocking and timing being pulled during all 3 runs. "I" have never felt the "knocking" indications while I'm driving the car. My goals are now 300WHP on this dyno and then I will call it a day. So it looks like Works 269 cams/retainers, apeture, IP and Endless brake pads are in my future. I'll post the the Dyno sheets tonight.

Props to Tuning Technologies for good service and explaining to me how read the results and the Works crew for providing good products.
