I can get nearly 25mpg (300mi on one tank) if I do mostly hwy miles at ~75mph. Power mods are Works air filter, TB, and full 3" exhaust.

ok, i didn't REALLY notice that big of a difference with pre/post P2. of course, i kinda did it staged... had the ecu flashed. drove it for a week or two and then finally installed the boost hoses. but it didn't really seem that much different to me.

also, i think my gas mileage got a little better. my light used to come on around 180 - 190 (mostly city driving and i drive like a bat outta hell all the time) and now i think it usually comes on at about 200 - 210...

just my 0.02

and my only mods are K&N drop-in and WORKS ABE

Re" Mileage"

I'm getting 21 in/around San Diego with my P2. I'm going to add 2 gallons of 100 oct just for fun and see what benefits if any I can gain from that.

yeah, like what you thought of it in terms of loudness, etc.?? I gather the stock exhuast is 85 db and the ABE is about 101db, is it that noticeably louder?? The fit and finish look AMAZING!

Well, as for now I only have the ABE. the rest of my exhaust is stock. I'm doing the slow modification thing. next on the list is the IP... still trying to find a used one...

anyways, i LOVE the sound of the ABE. I also HATE the sound of most of the ricey cars out there. the annoying coffee-can exhaust sound KILLS me. the ABE sounds nothing like this, AT ALL. It honestly sounds more like it should have sounded from Mitsu. It's not whiney, or high pitched. hard to explain, but i LOVE it. and with JUST the ABE on, it's not that much louder at all, just a completely different sound. a much better one.

and the fit and finish SERIOUSLY can't be beat.

if you're in cali, get the ABM ... anywhere else, i seriously can't recommend anything better than the ABE... lighter, more powerful, prettier, sounds a crapload better... theres no downside...

haha, okay, actually I'm in Houston, TX, I was just worried about getting the ricey look thing going. . .right now I just don't hear my exhaust at all, which is fine with me, but I'd like a little rumble, and the extra 12hp couldn't hurt either. . .I heard the IP is pretty useless and makes the system pretty loud, why not just get the ceramic coated DP??

It's been a toss up between the ABM and Stealthworks, and everyone has said if you want it close to stock, go with the Stealthworks, but your opinion was good, I appreciate it. . .

Does it stik out far from the bumper, or is it nicely tucked in?

The ABE, at least with the non resonated 70mm IP and 70mm ceramic DP sounds way too loud, IMO. In addition, to me it sounded tin can ricey. I am assuming it sounds different/better with just the ABE and nothing else. I would sure like to hear how the ABE sound without the DP and IP. If you were to only change out the muffler, I would go with the ABE instead of the StealthWorks but if you are going to do the DP/IP, then I would highly suggest not going with the ABE because to me, it is way too loud and does not sound good at all!

DAMN it!!! i just wrote a huge freakin reply and boom, all gone. anyways, to sum it up...

looks?
not ricey at all: no big shiny muffler. sticks straight out instead of angled.

sound?
couldn't hear my stock either. this is MUCH better. weight savings + more power = good.

IP not useless. 3" DP with stock exhaust = useless. everything would still be constipated after the DP. mod from muffler towards engine. when i get IP i'm gonna go with resonated version to keep it a little quieter.

if you're going complete 3" from WORKS, I'd get the ABM for performance and looks or the StealthWORKS for ultimate sleeper.

the ABE does stick out further than the stock. good thing in my opinion. don't have to clean nasty black stuff off bumper. and looks nice too. pretty but not gawdy and laser engraved logo. i LOVE it.
