If you were to only change out the muffler, I would go with the ABE instead of the StealthWorks but if you are going to do the DP/IP, then I would highly suggest not going with the ABE because to me, it is way too loud and does not sound good at all!
yeah, i can see how that would sound VERY loud. that setup is for pure performance with the stock sized turbo, at the sacrifice of sound.

if i get time, i'll make a recording of JUST the ABE. and yes, if you're just changing the muffler or doing the resonated cat/turbo-back, i'm gonna say go with the ABE also. however, if you're going all out, go with the ABM

I just bought a 84 Toyota truck to drive around so time can catch up to the miles on the EVO.

Sounds great!. Have you made any runs at the dragstrip with your P2 yet?

Before the P2 I would get 225miles and the light would be on. The little bit of rain we got about 2 weeks ago yielded some nice drifting compared to pre-P2. I still think the P2 is the best fire and forget all-around stealth mod that also gives better gas mileage (I didn't know about the MPG thing before getting it).

You're still welcome to try it out. I may go to the IE Socalevo.net meet tomorrow 11/7/05 in Ontraio. One of the guys from the SoCalevo site wants to get rid of his P2. He's has a test pipe, cams, SAFC, fuel pump, etc and doesn't need it.

I don't get to drive my car very much due to work, I got another streetbike, & now I just bought a 84 Toyota truck to drive around so time can catch up to the miles on the EVO.
Thanks for the reply.
That's a big time fuel savings.
Very shortly the fuel savings will pay for your P2 flash.
How ironic, my 05 gets right around that same 225-230 miles per tank.

I'm still sitting on the fench as far as engine management.
I run around 93/94ish octane and my 05 has been running superb.
Basically boost peaks at 21 and holds at 19 most of the time.
( the cooler weather seems to help )

I've been debating between the P2 or SAFC.
With the SAFC, I'll end up needing a Walbro fuel pump, injectors and wideband.
(More or less the Dr. Grey stage Eleventy Billion) Not very cost effective however.

Maybe someday, I'll go to one of the meets and you can give me a ride
on an open area to see how the P2 pulls and boosts.

Lastly, about the Toyota truck syndrom, I still have my 92 that I bought from
Longo Toyota back in 1992. Probably the most reliable, industructable
workhorse ever built. I drive that most of the time and the Evo is my
weekend warrior or afterwork stress reliever.

Streets Of Willow sounds like it would be way more fun. They're running 1/4 mile drags this Saturday at the California Speedway in Fontana if you want to check it out. If I could get off of work early enough, I'll be there.

i got my p2 flash as well...
gas mileage definitely improved. got more than 340miles before i fill in, with average 80+ mph AND more than 30MIN of traffic JAM!
if traffic is smooth i'm looking at about 28mpg!
