WORKS Front Strut Tower Brace

WORKS has received our new front strut tower braces: http://www.worksevo.com/store/produc...roducts_id=266

This helps increase rigidity up front while saving a little weight in the process--a perfect compliment to the Croxx Plate II Smile Pictures don't do it justice, but here are a few to give you an idea:

Quick question and I don't mean to hijack this thread. But what would be the components that I could purchase from Works (without using adjustable components) to take my 2005 GSR to the handling/rebound suspension characteristics of the 2005 MR?

I know the MR uses a Bilstein shock that rebounds about 30% quicker, but is there any other difference with the sway bars, springs or bracing that is different between the GSR and MR.

What Works components would you recommend to add/replace on the GSR to get it at the level of the MR if not a little bit beyond without having to lower the car or do any dramatic changes.

Thanks!

I like it. How much weight savings are we talking about here though?

Not enough to make a difference!

Damn, but it sure looks pretty, though, doesn't it?

Spring differ as well, but the rest is pretty much the same. Without lowering the car, you are looking at switching over to the Bilsteins (or possibly coilovers) to achieve the same ride/handling characteristics (or beyond).

Jamie-
Is there any way you guys could actually post a weight on the WORKS strut brace and a weight on the stock bar??
You can PM me with the information as well. And is this the same metal the stock strut brace is made of, or WORKS front brace of higher tensile strength, more torsional ridgity, etc. . . .
Just want to know if this is an aesthetic mod for $350 or a functional mod!
