The WORKS advantage- Evo IX Brainflash Complete

Currently, WORKS has a complete product line for the Evo IX right now and we are tuning customer IX's as we speak. We were the first tuner in the Western Hemisphere to receive a IX ECU for R'nD in July 2005 and we are pleased to announce that the WORKS P2 Brainflash for the IX- Mivec is now available.
Engine, Suspension, Drivetrain, Brakes and other systems are shared with the Evo VIII and are also available now.

The WORKS P2 advantage is that we reflash your ECU for free as you follow the WORKS upgrade path. As the first North American tuner to flash the factory ECU in April 2003, while others used dated '80's piggyback technology, our engineers are able to custom tune your ECU for every modification. We currently have over 400 in-house maps for instant flashes. We are not limited to a certain # of pre-determined maps and licensing fees for each upgrade but can custom tune for all your needs.

In addition, we offer a factory matched warranty unmatched in the industry.
Several Evo owners at Mitsubishi Motors Research & Development in Cypress CA use WORKS products for it's OEM fitment & quality, shouldn't you....

With over 25 years of licensed SAE experience, choose licensed engineers, choose WORKS!

We have not completed repeated dyno tests to have consistent figures but according to data-logging one can expect about a 5-6hp gain between the 2005 VIII's and the 2006 IX.

After test driving a IX- MR yesterday, the new Evo feels smoother when you use full throttle at 2nd, 3rd & 4th gear runs from 2k- 6k rpm's.

Is there any way to access more than one map from a brainflash with the flip of a switch?

like maybe a 93 / 100 octane switch?
or a hi-boost / low-boost switch?
or maybe a meth / no meth switch?

Just curious ... could be a stupid question, but if it isn't I'd like to know more. Thanks

HE means 5-6hp up "difference". So if you make 25whp on an 05 with the flash, you will make approximately 30-31whp on an 06 IX.

The current Brain Flash software doesn't allow these options. These requests have been around and our endeavor to find a solution continues

FWIW High/low boost is already an option. As long as you don't mind your low boost setup being the default acuator level, you can just disconnect the power supply to the boost control solenoid

lol, cute.

But seriously, are the load sites within the stock ecu boost-dependent? Meaning ... could I drive around at say 20-21psi all day and then SAFELY switch to 25 psi and 100 octane without a whole new map?

Couldn't this be accomplished by tuning on 93 octane and a max of 21psi and then setting the load sites above 21psi based on 100 octane fuel? Then just use a boost controller to switch between 21 and 25psi when you fill up with the good stuff. Or am I stupid and that just makes no sense to anyone but me?
