I just installed mine a few days ago. After driving my Evo for 66k miles I know what helps and hurts it's handling characteristics. The GT-Spec trunk cage has made the rear of my car feel completely solid and controlable around turns, while whipping the end out, and has improved weight transfer through the vehicle through flat out lateral accelleration. Going through my local closed course twisty testing grounds where 55mph used to be pushing the limits my car now feels completely planted and neutal in the rear at 65mph and this was at 7:30am when the roads were still very cold with my rubber not warmed up. I will be adding a rear sway bar in the following week and will give a follow up on it's effects on the vehicle.
