As quoted by Jamie from his Boost "Control" Flashes sticky:

"In theory, yes. Although I wouldn't recommend trying to squeeze 30 PSI out of the stock setup Provided there are supporting mods that are able to run this boost within their design parameters, WORKS could set the PSI accordingly using our software/boost hose.

We haven't used any aftermarket solenoids. Frankly, we haven't seen the need to.

The WORKS boost hose assembly allows us to use the software to provide the control others are lacking. Exactly what is done to allow this is proprietary information that our Engineers won't be giving up.

WORKS doesn't intercept/alter any signals. What the ECU sees with the WORKS software is the same as what it sees with OEM software."

What your saying is you want it to spike to 29psi for a second then go back down? I dont know if that is possible or not, but I dont see why you would want it to do that. I have heard of some flashes where the boost rises as rpms increase, but you need to sign a waiver

actually i don't want to have to boost to spike to 29 psi. wat i'm saying is with just the p2 flash (still set @ 19 psi), would boost spike tat high on it's own.

I have a 03 Evo and it used to happen to me but not anymore (updated flash). It was very rare (only in 5th gear going WOT at low RPM in cold weather). I'm not positive it was 29psi because my boost gauge only reads up to 25psi but it would spike well into the high 20 psi's.

Ditto,

Stock my 05 boosted higher and was more variable compared to after the P2. After the P2 I could still boost just under 25 only under WOT in 5th gear at 80+MPH.
