Congrats to WORKS - 2006 Time Attack Winners!

WORKS just won Modified Class AWD in Time Attack. Congrats! The car was amazing and K&N is a proud sponsor. Photos to follow.

This is two years in a row for them - 2005 and 2006. Congrats also to hotshoe driver Dave Brown who brought hom the victory on his birthday. The whole WORKS team deserves credit for pulling together despite doing battle with a cracked oil return fitting and only getting a couple of timed laps to secure the victory.

Yes, congratulations!

Can we find the buildout on that vehicle somewhere? Thanks and keep up the great work as always!

As mentioned over on NorCalEvo by Jaime, er Jamie.

this is virtually the same car that ran in November that was assembled in 10 days. Since then, we've changed two things: the faulty lifters on cylinder #4 (so we're running on more than 3 1/2 cylinders) and the clutch (installed our CK3 twin-disc).

It's still a factory block (with balance shafts) bored .020" over, upgraded pistons and rods. OEM head (aside from the WORKS 269 cams, springs/retainers) OEM manifolds (both intake and exhaust), WORKS Aperture II throttle body, ATP GT35/40R and WORKS Exhale exhaust. The only Cosworth item I can think of are the stickers (for now) Wink

The WORKS/Ohlins Stage IV suspension is keeping the Toyo RA-1 tires planted on the ground in conjunction with the WORKS Rear Swaybar (stock front bar) and WORKS Urethane Suspension Bushings.

We're not spraying anything (no nitrous, no water, no alky) and tuning everything using the Brain Flashed ECU (no stand alone, no piggybacks, no gimmicks).
