IX Flash Update?

Is there any update on the expected release of your brain flash (non-ecutek) p2 for the evo IX? Any time soon would be great. It's been real tempting to go elsewhere, but to be honest, I liked what I've read about your products and haven't found anything negative in all the posts I've read.
Thanks.

Was this a mail in or did you go there direct? Also, what kind of gains did you get or feel? Any info would be great.

Thanks

No, it's the same rock-solid boost that WORKS has had for years.

how much do they charge for a flash? I'm assuming they have a flash ready for people with basic stuff (downpipe, testpipe, exhaust, manual boost controller)?

There are some variations of the flash. Most opt for the WORKS Brain Flash P2: http://www.worksevo.com/store/produc...products_id=50 It also includes the WORKS boost hose assembly which allows the ECU to properly control boost, so there's no need for the manual controller. Check for a reply on NorCalEvo as well

lol thanks Jamie. Sorry to bug you on different forums. lol. So I order that first, then call you and come in for a tune for my mods? Also, I should be setting aside about $1000 for everything (labor, parts, etc) right?

Just give us a call to set up an appointment. Depending on what else you get, the $1000 might not be enough If your sticking with just the flash, it'll cover everything. We'll even give you some change

Yes, the WORKS Brain Flash is able to run 22 PSI. However, 91 octane fuel provides some limitations and wouldn't be recommended at those levels. You would more than likely encounter some knock and the ECU would reduce performance in the process of trying to keep things safe.

hmm, I see. I'll leave it at stock boost and see how it goes... I'll be ordering my p2 in a couple weeks... I'll give you guys a call afterwards. (I always thought that 21psi was pretty safe even on 91 octane.)

BTW: are you guys open weekends? Maybe I'll drop by this weekend.

IX's can run 22-23psi safely on 91 oct. if properly tuned

Well I'm sure if anyone can properly tune it, it would be WORKS. I'm sure they say that just to keep everything on the safer side though.
