Works care to Comment??

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...0&page=1&pp=40

Basically TTP and BR are theorizing that the Works (and Invidia) O2 housings are useless and might actually reduce power due to increased turbulance. Just wanted to know your thoughts.

TTP was refering to the Works housing, in not so many words. Not the Invidia. The Invidia splits the exhaust gases similiar to an e-bay or factory housing. The overall volume of the Invidia may be it's downfall. Hopefully, we will hear results shortly.

Theories are all fine and dandy, but in the end, they're just theories. Here's what I have stated in the past based on actual data and first-hand driving impressions:

Made a few comments at the end of that one myself. One of the reason I like works stuff, they dont BS about what theyre selling. You get what you pay for, and wont have to sell it when another company comes out with something "better" later on. Not to brown nose, but you guys come out with better products. It just takes longer since you actually R and D it before throwing it up for sale. Personally I like that =)

I work for a company that makes software that runs back of house operations for casinos. If we just threw some junk out there before testing it, on systems that are tracking millions of dollars per day, you bet your **** we would be in big freakin trouble! Research is good, mmkay!

Works = Quality and One of the Best customer service.
I've always liked Works products even though it takes a while to make it to market.

all these seem to be alluding to the same test... that has no official results even after the fact of releasing the item.

well d/b i beleave has the works o2 housing. i gess he went and had to by one. i think something bad is in store for this part. i meen there is no proof of this part working unless there was other mods. i hope it makes great power. but we all have yet to see proof of that.

dave any idea when you will test it?

I'll cough up a little extra margin for something actually designed by REAL ENGINEERS.

Hey Karash, This has always been my point with Buschur. How can you slam a product and then expect people to believe you are doing an "objective" test. In the past, he has claimed parts were worthless only to then ask for the vendor to send him one to test. To his credit, when his testing proves him wrong, he has admitted it. As an example, remeber that he originally wouldn't use Garrett BB turbos with his kits and he said the Ebay 02 housing were worthless. Those are just the 2 that came to me quickly, but there are a few other examples.

Well at least he's spending the time to test things like this. If companies would provide REAL data which should have been obtained during product design/testing we wouldn't have to search forums in order to find out how a product performs. Just a thought
