70 mm DP and HFC?
I'm considering getting a Works TBE. I like the idea of having a 70 mm DP because it makes more power and fits with more room on my IX. Anyway, will the 70 mm DP bolt up to the 76 mm WRP Exhale HFC and the stock O2 housing?
Also, I see that getting the TBE package is cheaper than getting all the parts separately, but I don't see a package option that includes the 70 mm DP. Is it possible to get the package discount with the 70 mm DP? Why not make the 70 mm DP as an package option since it makes more power for most (mild) applications? And why is the 70 mm DP $20 more than the 76 mm DP?

The 70mm DP will work perfectly with the WRP HFC and the stock o2 housing. I bet they will hook you up with the TBE deal if you just give them a call. They aren't on these forums very much.
works exhaust pieces fits well together. i have the whole exhaust system, 76mm dp, hfc, ip, and abm, and they all fit very nicely together. i can definitely feel the power gain, especially w/the hfc since there's an update flash 4 it.

I got that straight from the Works website. It says:
This makes sense to me, and I bet if everyone was aware of this fact, there would be a lot more demand for 70 mm downpipes among people with mild mods.
Exhale DP:: Designed in conjunction with the WORKS Exhale O2 Housing, the WORKS Exhale 70mm piping increases exhaust flow while retaining low-end torque. Extensive testing has shown that a moderately modified Evo with this setup produces more power with a 70mm downpipe than a 76mm downpipe. This is due to minimizing abrupt gas expansion which cools the exhaust gases rapidly and creates undesirable turbulence.
