I bought mine without the ceramic coating(Regretting that I didn't get it). I see some downpipes are wrapped in exhaust wrap. Instead of doing that I wanted to try this option and want to know what you guys think. Thanks!

Should work.... Clamp it on near the oil pan / diff area.
