WORKS Tax Break Specials

Now that your taxes have been filed, it's time to breath a sigh of relief. WORKS is also celebrating by announcing special pricing on a few items.

The WORKS Exhale Turbo-back Exhaust is being discounted an additional 10% off the already discounted package price. Package includes 76mm Thermal Coated DP, HFC, 76mm Resonated IP and ABM for only $1299.*

Add the WORKS Exhale O[sub]2[/sub] Housing for a true turbo-back setup. Again, this unit is on sale for an incredible $359 (add $50 for thermal coating).*

*All prices valid through the end of April 2007. Parts must be purchased online with specific mention of this Evolutionm.net special. Delivery charge can be waived if WORKS is installing items purchased online.

Jaime,

Just curious...what does the O2 housing actually do? Why does this make it a 'True TBE' vs. not having it?

And what happens if I ordered the TBE w/o it?

Thanks for answering

"True" turbo back because you've completed upgrading everything from the turbo back that would restrict exhaust flow in the exhaust system.

That's the way I take it.

i run with the full 76mm setup, minus the o2 housing. it's not very loud, especially compared to other exhaust systems. cops never bother me.

refer to this post for the video.

The WORKS Exhale components have passed smog, but do not have CARB certification. When using the ABM, noise levels are relatively tame. It's the AB that will wake up the neigbors at full throttle Power gains will vary with other supporting mods, but would expect at least 25 (and usually higher) out of the traditional turbo-back.

I run the TBE(DPcoated, HFC, IP, ABM)+Works filter without the o2 housing. Nice deep throaty sound without being annoying or droning, damn near perfect sound. This is my dyno chart from Harman Motive. 05 MR ~70deg no tuning, bolt on and go. Running a little rich. Cops cared more about the tint than anything else.
