Great Job at WORKS
I'm so glad that I brought my car at WORKS. I am very satisfied on the modification that they did on my EVO IX (TR 340), since then my car performance was awesome. Everybody at WORKS are very professional (special thanks to Kirk and Jamie, they are the MEN! behind these great modifications). I'm sure that if I wanted to have something done on my car, WORKS is the perfect place to go.
Sounds like a great experience, how long did it take them to do the whole package (TR-340),did they dyno it also? I'll be coming from San Diego and I really don't feel like staying any longer than I have too, no offense fellas.
I brought my car on Saturday and my car was ready on Tuesday, the reason for the delay was the fuel pump shipment ( can't ship sooner). They did a dyno too: Max wheel power 300.8 @ 6,000 RPM, Max Torque 300.8 @4,300 RPM.
Shouldn't it be putting down around 360whp, since 340whp was rated for the Viii and you have a IX.
Someone please correct me if i'm wrong here.
I'm pretty sure that includes a Flash as well, but I'm with mikevoSE, I thought the TR-340 package on a IX would rate at least 360whp??? hell I'm real confused now and alittle disappointed, whats up?

Don't get me wrong, I'm not here to bash Works. I will eventually be tuned by them as well. I just think there is something definately wrong here, what that is i don't know, but his car should be putting down more hp.
Just the other day we had a TR-303 + Downpipe and LICP made 309 with out cams. Add cams and I would expect ~340whp, on that car, on that day, on that dyno.
I believe that's my car you're talking about Tyler.
Only thing I'm missing from the TR-303 is the aperture throttle body.
So if I slap that on, and finish the TR-340 with the cams, I should be sitting pretty nice.

The end number doesn't really matter. It's the delta before/after. Even then, the raw number isn't what counts, it's the percentage. I'd rather gain 20HP on a baseline of 100 versus 50 HP on a baseline of 300 (all else being "equal").

Glad to hear you're enjoying things and sorry about the delay, but it sounds like it was worth it.
