100 Octane Brain Flash

My 2006 Evo IX has recently become a weekend cruiser and will only be filled with 104 octane gas in the future. WORKS, can I send you my ECU and have the flash for 100 octane? My current flash is the P2 for 91 octane.

If you're going to fill it with 104, why would you want a 100 octane flash? Just a suggestion to get it flashed for 104.

How much boost are you running with 104?I might be doing the same thing. My car is not a daily driver as well.

With 100 octane I'm not sure what WORKS can do with the boost. I'll have to ask them. If possible I'll raise it to 25 psi but it may require an aftermarket BOV.

I'm not going with 104 octane flash because I would like a cushion of safety because tunes vary depending on weather, elevation..etc.

In short, yes we can flash your ECU for whatever octane you want. Fill out the ECU flash form and send it in with your ECU so we no what modifications you have. It is probably best to call in and talk over the specifics with someone on the phone.

thanks,

I sent of my ECU to WORKS for the 100 octane Brain Flash and I was considering it may be a good idea to purchase a different range spark plug. Is this a good idea or will the stock ones work?

If you are going to up the boost, they say it's usually healthier to go with one step colder. I'm still running stock plugs though surprisingly.
