Future exhaust components?
Future exhaust components?
I not anxious to remove the ECM and send it to California 3 or 4 times, so I would like to do it once and my needs are simple.
1. downpipe
2. hi-flow cat
3. cat back exhaust with muffler.
4. your ECM reflash for 93 octane map.
Are you planning to offer the above complete exhaust in the future? What happens if FEDEX sends my ECU to Brazil and it ends up being a roof shingle? How would the "immobilizer" issue be handled with a replacement ECU?
And finally, Dave, how loud is the "Exhale"? Is it "extra" loud.
Thank you in advance..

(2) If FedEx loses your ECU (ECM) and makes a Brazilian roofing repairman very happy, hopefully you will have followed our instructions to insure it for the replacement value before sending it off to San Paolo (we always insure on the return trip). Your local dealer can recode a new one to your car. We can, of course, tune the replacement ECU for you.
(3) The Exhale is throaty on acceleration, but otherwise very acceptable in both tone and volume with none of the boominess or drone that is associated with some "tuned" exhaust systems. As we release additional exhaust upgrades -- each of which will integrate with the Exhale -- we design around not only maximizing the performance, durability and appearance of the system, but also preserving overall sound quality.

Thanks Dave and all my questions have been answered. My only problem is coming up with a list of excuses for the service manager if (on the small chance) Fed Ex loses it. Like explaining why my car is in my garage in Indiana and my ECU is in Brazil?
