BP-1 Brake package

How does this package compare to the stock rotors/pads? In terms of performance, noise and dust. I have an Evo IX which is my daily driver and will see the occasional track day at VIR (maybe a handful of days each year).

Thanks!

They are great performers, especially if you are doing any track time, you will notice a big difference from the stockers. As far as noise and dust are concerned they really are pretty good. If you coat the pads with a good anti-squeak spray or grease they aren't noisy at all, and dust is minimal.

Thanks, Bill, for the quick response. I'm having problems with uneven pad deposits on my stock rotors...had to have them resurfaced once at the dealership because of vibration in the steering wheel. Well, the vibration is back and I don't want the dealership to resurface them again. I properly bedded the pads so not sure why that keeps happening. So, I might just say "screw" the stock set up and go with your package.

So, are the BP1's less dusty than stock? How would they compare to a set of Hawk HPS or Project Mu pads?

Thanks!

By the way, do you sell steel braided brakelines? I can't find them on your site. Can only find a clutch line.

Yes, WORKS does sell the brake lines to compliment the clutch line. They'll be offered online again shortly.

Got a question on the WRP Orange pads. Where do these slot in as compared to competitors? Can these be used with stock rotors? How about trip to/from the track (not daily driven, just to/from)?

Sounds like they are track-only pads so would they be in the range of Carbotech XP10-12, PFC01, Hawk DTC70, etc???

We recommend the following (listed by increased performance):
Endless Vita Nuova
WORKS Blue
Endless CC-X
WORKS WRP Orange

The Orange pads are considered a competition/track only use pad. While they could be driven on the street, I wouldn't call them very rotor-friendly at cold temperatures. They can be used with the stock rotors, but combining them with a WORKS slotted rotor brings them closer to their full potential.
