3 inch dp hardware

I purchased a used works 3inch dp and it came with a donut looking thing but no hardware, can I use stock hardware? or do I need to buy something else? and does the DP have any fitment issues with the buschur o2 housing?

I hope you got the big brass donut thing. You'll need the gasket to go with that donut at the minimum and reuse the stock bolts. But Works provides their own bolts/adaptors to use with springs however.

You may have to compress the springs in a vise and use some wire to hold them together (like a spring compressor) to make the bolts go in easier, especially with a new gasket...just a fyi..you may not have to though.

Psquared says to compress them in a vice but how do i keep them compressed when i put the bolts in em and put em on the car? Thanks for any help I'll need it this time around cuz it was really hard last time.

Las week I installed the WORKS 3 inch downpipe with the Buschur 02 housing and had some fitment issues. The big brass ring that fits over the 02 housing didn't fit. I had to have my brother use his companies lathe to bore out the ring a little bit. This problem was on the part of Buschur Racing's 02 housing...not the 3 inch downpipe or brass ring.

Yes, it cleared the ACD without any problems. I'm not sure if the metal ring alone will work; I thought about using just the metal ring but went with the brass ring because it looked like the metal wire like ring wouldn't seal by itself.

Also be careful about stripping the bolts on the Buschur 02 housing if you get the ceramic coating. The threads weren't tapped and one of the bolts stripped.

There's more to the hardware kit than just the donut gasket. We have pictures on our site of what's included with the WORKS DP. Spare hardware kits are hard to keep around as others encounter the same situation when buying used. Give us a call and we'll see what's available.

So can you just use the stock bolts?
