I bought my emanage on ebay for 300 shipped

David,
i am looking forward to the ecu and throttlebody upgrade.
my friend and i are driving up in AUG. we both have evo's and are
going to have your tune and throttlebody installed. my ? is during the last week in AUG before labor day will you guys be open?
and if so how long will the process be to do both EVO's?
and on another note thankyou for answering my questions about
your dyno plots and tunning. not to put anyone else down, but
you had a answer for every question i had. thats refreshing in this persuit for more power and reliability.. thanks again
cant wait till AUG.

Just noticed something, at the top of the RPM range on the works Dyno sheet, it is damn near 250 WHP off of sup 200WHP, that is a 50WHP increase right were you need it, damn that is good and you will feel that.
Again I wish I could use a MBC set to 1.34 BAR to the red, me thinks that coupled with a NOOOOOOICE intake would yeild more power, have a nice grounding kit too in order to make the spark consistant.
Do you think you can make a flash for 19.5 PSI?

I am leaning toward this more than the xede is it 100% that the dealer wont know i had reflashed i have a extended warrenty and dont want to kill that. also in cali theres only a couple spots to get 94 lets say im on a long drive and have to get 91 will ther be a prob? thanx for answering my q;s
I'll answer this one. There are two maps available from Works. If you're in Cali, you'll get the 91 octane map. Otherwise, you can get the 93 octane map. From what I understand you can put 91 octaine in a car running the 93 map without any damage, but the performance is not as optimized as it is for the specific 91 octane map.
there are 76 stations that sell 100 octane gas but there is only like 3 in my area people said if i mix 91 with 100 itll make 94 so im not sure which map i should pic and also what about the warrenty is it a 100% deal that the dealer wont know the ecu got reflashed? what if a tec drives it?
The only way the dealer might know is if he dynos the car. All the codes come back same as stock. I'd suggest going with the 91 octane map for convenience and if you ever move, you get a free reflash so you can reflash for 93.
Well i like the no hacking idea. but i have to go to frisco to get it done. besides that have to go back frequently to have it reflashed if im understanding this right. and im a lucky one whos somewhat close to frisco. i think ill try other, more permanent means. i think i read something about getting a evo 7 ecu harness "extention" kind of thing you can splice into for a piggy back? which i wouldnt doubt evo 8 specific ones aren't too far off. I just dont like the idea of being that dependent on works to keep my car programmed right, unless someone can tell me its not as big of a pain in the *** as i suspect it is.

also with the Xede they sell a plug and play harness so it can be easily removed so the dealers will never know....and all you have to do is download the mappings of the internet depending on your mods...i am going with shiv anyday

By contrast, the WORKS Brain flash is "plug and play" and makes healthy, satisfying power through its increased 7850 rev limit. Peak power is one thing, holding the car in gear longer and still pulling hard is what the Brain is all about.

We are proud of what we have achieved with the Brain flash and prefer to go straight to the source for the cleanest, most direct and most reliable tune of the car. Oh, and the $795 price on the Xede doesn't include the price of the harness (not yet available?) nor does the Xede alter the rev limit.

Sell your products on their own merits. All your comments hinting that the XEDE tunes through "improper means" and is "less reliable" grows old. It indicates that not only do you have no idea on how it works, but you have no intention of learning how it works.
The XEDE and the reflash are two different systems with two different price points and will appeal to two different kinds of people. You're more than welcome to come by our shop and we'll be happy to demonstrate the XEDE for you.
You may also be surprised to learn that the XEDE will work WITH your reflash if one is so inclined. This would provide the advantages of actual boost control, knock sensor signal attenuation, fuel enrichment triggering, smart spark control and map-switching. Not to mention the whole real-time user tuning thing and reversibility back to stock when desired.
