N10S,

This Evo thing has really taken over me, all i can think about is this.
Btw, the 272/272 will be installed soon.
Do you think i should go with the 3037 turbo? any suggestions?

Yeah, I can get that way too, then I typically overdose on a car and decide to get rid of it. I have been feeling that way lately, so hopefully the P2 will rejuvenate me, and hopefully the Evo won't become another statistic in my book of previously owned cars.

A turbo upgrade with an optimized flash would be interesting...I wonder what the limitations are... if any??

N10S,

I was getting bored with it too, til the P2 comes along, it really wakes the Evo up as the original flash did for the stock Evo.

P2 flash will definitely rejuvenate you. If not, try the Cad CTV-S. or we should both just get the TT996, then that will cure our disease for a much longer time frame!!

My friend has a decked out 996TT and he is sick of it after 8 months, specialy after we raced in the canyons and I was on his *** and about to pass, after that day he didn't feel like a king anymore and my evo became a hero among our high end car owning friends, he has coilovers, exhaust , K&N and fat *** wheels. We have never raced straight line, I tried to do a stoplight but he won't go, I guess after the twisties he does't want to take the chance, eventhough I know he will take me when we hit 3rd gear, but hopefully with my current mods and the works boost flash, I might have a chance. oh by the way I also took out the clutch ristrictor and the car feels awsome, it actualy feels like a normal clutch like any other car

Just unplugging your battery will not reset the new program code. If this concerns you then just remember the ECU would immediately reset itself when Works sent the ECU back to you in the mail! Just won't happen.

Btw- I asked David w/Works the same question about "what happens if my performance re-flash gets accidently written over by some kind of dealership re-flash?".

David replied that every Works customer has a file that identifies what specific program they are running/paid for. If the re-flash is lost somehow David said that they would re-flash the ecu with the level of program that the customer had originally paid for.

Thats the story I got months ago from David/Works, perhaps someone from Works can comfirm current policy regarding this kind of issue?

Yep, N10S, that is exactly right.

Rifkin

P.S. Looks like I don't need to say too much about our upcoming release since Wilson is already doing all the PR work for us.

and he is doing a good job at it, I am sold also will this boost flash work with my current mods including the http://www.real-engineering.com flash I had done about 4 months ago? will your flash overwrite it? I am thinking it will since they told me they can reflash it to stock if I didn't like it. Their flash is a none boost type, I have to admit their flash is quite good but since they don't have the boost, I would like to go with what you guys offer.

my mods are listed below.

wilson - would you mind timing yourself from 40-100mph? I'm curious how this flash stacks up to some other cars in the 40-100 thread. Stock we're around 9.5 seconds.

Rifkin- Thanks for confirming my info. Wilson is doing a great job, can you give him the dyno charts and pricing to post?

Waiting anxiously..........

Will your boost flash works with turbo-back exhaust and HKS intake?
