Works can't reply quite yet. David is still on vacation. Once he returns in couple of days or so, they should be responding to all of us. I've talked to people at works and they are great guys. I'm pretty sure they will try their best to work something out but just remember the cost of living in San Francisco is crazy and Works is located here.
Still, I agree with most of you. The price is bit too high and either Works should lower the price or give more such as brain flash upgrade for life, get the axel back or the throttle body for $100 with P2 now or later. I think getting more sounds really good for the price. Plus, this will build loyal customers who know they will be hooked up with new products in the future (that is loyalty discounts).

Well it looks like so far about 20 people would buy it if the price is 550-600. That means Works would be getting 20 more businesses from us if they would lower their price. But since the price is so high, looks like they will lose at least 20 businesses. Let see, that 550 x 20 = 11000. Hmmm.....about that much, I guess.

I think 550 would be a great price and 600 would be a fair price. 750 or whatever they are asking is called prestigious pricing (in Dave marketing speak)which WORKS can't afford to do unless they get as big as Spoon, JUN, or TODA. We'll see

My "Friend" has a bone stock silver EVO with just the WORKS 93 octane brain flash. The results were very impressive. On the downside the a/f ratio device was not working properly, so they were not able to get an accurate read out. They tried switching the cable out and it didn't make a difference. The box was rather ragged looking and I'm not sure I would want it reading a/f ratios on my friends car anyway. The DYNO chart speaks for itself. If there was an a/f ratio problem it would have shown in the numbers. Way to go WORKS!! Next week he is going to send his ECU back to WORKS for the P2. He will again dyno the car at the same place and post the results overlapping this P1 result.

Although the dyno graphs look super for a simple cat back, throttle body change, and re-flash, I would like to see what it does in real life. We are over a month away from Works dyno days where we can really wring things out car to car on the road not on the drums.

The way things were presented seems rash. Works deserves a chance to justify their price. They have always seemed fair on price but this seems like a step away from what sounds reasonable (especially for the prior customers seeking upgrades).

For just the p2 re-flash I would pay $600.

550 would be the right price. With shipping you will be paying 600? Even though shipping cost has nothing to do with the price of the actual product, it is still coming out of the same pocket. So 600 shipped would be great.

We should have a few of those after the Nov. 1 St.Louis Dyno-day. I know there's at least one guy that is bone stock getting the p2 and should have a before and after.

Hey guys I have numbers for all of you. I did a 13.293 at 104.96 with a 1.896 60 foot...that is sick...concidering most people dump 4,000-5,000 to do 105-106 mph. So im happy with only having the 93 octane reflash....the funny thing is when i went to dyno my car before i hit the tracks the dyno place stated that i only had 211 to the wheels after 4 runs!!!....LOL They can shove that dyno right up there ***.....Sorry guys it just pissed me off when I had to pay 95 dollars for the dyno for them to tell me I have less hp then stock...Well now I know my car def has way more then stock...and im pleased I give WORKS two I will try to get a pic of my time slip soon. Oh by the way since I dont feel like going to another dyno and paying more money...How much do u guys think I have to the wheels with almost doing 105 at the tracks. Thanxs

I would rather have an ET than a HP figure... First off, the total power output is what gets you down the road not the peak. Your ride obviously has plenty under the curve. There is no way to estimate peak HP output from your ET. The output of the first Z28 was a mere 275HP yet they were much faster than the 300HP 350ss models as was my little free reving 300 Hp 283. Your dyno read out should describe a nice ramp up and a smooth mid range to upper end curve. My feeling is that is exactly what you see given your ET.
