Product Announcement: Brain Flash P2

Hi Everyone,

The Brain Flash P2 is here!

I know many of you have been anxiously awaiting this information and we appreciate your patientience! I hope you'll all agree that this new product has been worth the wait.

After months of development and testing, we have reformed the control of boost from the factory ECU. Unlike stock boost peaking at 19 psi and then falling lower as the RPMs climb, the Brain Flash P2 holds the boost at 19 psi from 3500 RPM all the way to redline. Built on the foundation of the Brain Flash P1, the Brain Flash P2 is delivering some very impresive power (check out dyno graphs).

Price: $749
Upgrade price for existing Brain Flash customers: $200

Enjoy!

Rifkin

What is the difference in HP & Torque between the P1 and P2 on a stock Evo. So people who don't have a brain flash can decide which they would prefer, a P1 or P2.

Thanks

Wow, I was hoping to get this but its almost in the same price as an XEDE. I personally thought $450 was a good deal but increase boost and charging $750 is a little too much.

Also the price is kinda high, I was expecting around $500 like the previous flash, I was about to send my ecu out on monday to you guys but now I will hold off until shiv come up with one with the $500 range

I know you guys did lots of testing and most likely it is worth the price, its just that it is out of my spending range.

keep up the good work.

Yeah, when the XEDE added the boost feature the price didn't go up and previous customers were upgraded for free.

I'm sorry, but are those graphs comparing stock to the P2 or P1 to the P2?

with all due respect to the great job you guys are doing, i really feel that $750 for something that i can control or tune is way too much. there are much better options out there which offers the same features and even more for the same or less. i truly feel that charging more than $500 for a reflash is pushing it. for that money you have the following options: afc+ebc, xede, e-manage+ebc, dynoflash and soon you will have the UTEC to compete with and many more (including the all new HKS F-CON SZ).

again, i know you guys are great and i have seen your products and they are truly top notch but in MY own opinion this is too much.

A little pricey I think. It may be a while before I can afford this upgrade. I think it should only be $100 more than the p1. I was thinking $150 at the most. Where are the 93 octane maps?

If just comparing the two HP graphs on the website there's a 18 HP difference between P1 and P2 but obviously it's carried out better through the range. Same with TQ. But if you look at the two baselines there's a 11hp discrepency between the two. The P2 starts with more power. Maybe it's the weather or the exhale/aperture. Not sure. But the 91/93 maps are gone as mentioned.
At least I already have the reflash and will get it for the nice $200 cost. I want to hold out for the 'Breath' first, but don't know how long that'll be. Rifkin?
