WI advantages are simple; water slows combustion allowing lower octane fuel, higher boost levels before detonation, leaner f/a ratios, and hotter timing than gasoline alone will allow. Cams affect breathing which raises the power band peak and curve slope. All of these need to be balanced with the rest of the engine's combustion, thermal, and breathing charateristics. which is what works to trying to refine. So, wait and save your pennies like I am doing.

Magazine deal eh, that sounds cool, looking forward to it. I can sure relate to “working around the clock”, seems like I’m running from one fire to the next around here to finish projects off before the end of the year. Just not enough hours in a day anymore.
I know we plan on making as many mods as we can over the next three months in preparation for the 2004 racing season so hang in there David, we’ll be ready whenever you are.
