I also did the P2 install last week. I am very impressed!
The hose install isn't easy but it isn't hard. How is that for an answer? It takes near zero mechanical skill, but does take some time and patience and a good variety of pliers doesn't hurt.
I went the underneath route. Just jack the font end and take of the splash gards. Have a power screw driver handy for the 40 or so plastic screws! Then it is just a matter of working in your hands or pliers to get the spring loaded hose clamps off. Seems like most people cut up thier hands a little.
The ECU part is very easy and takes 5 minutes.
The power is huge for the $.

Iknow I know but if you want an effective "bleed effect" to the wastegate (As works and Vishnu do) then insted of drilling holes in microscopic restrictors increas the diameter of the hase

OK, so I am back from the SF. As I have mentioned, I flew to SJ this weekend and drove to SF and met David on Sat. He showed me what he had at the shop but unfortunately the WORKS EVO wasn't there. Anyway, came back on Sunday and immediately reinstall the ECU and replaced the stock hose. I went in from the top and got a few minor scratches and scrapes but was successful. After I have all the stuff back in place, I took it out for a test drive. Warmed it up a little and put her down. From what I have read from everyone, my expectation was very high. I wouldn't describe it like some other have described it. I would say it pulls harder now and 19.5 all the way to redline is great. I guess I have read too many "it pulls and pulls and pulls, etc", so had a high expectation. Anyway, overall I am very happy with it and felt that money was well spent.

Glad to hear everything worked out! If you are still craving more power, the Aperture throttle body, Exhale series exhaust components, and 269 Power cams will soon have you hanging onto the steering wheel as the Evo begins exhibiting the first signs of power-on torque steer.
