Is there much of a weight difference between an SS IP and a TI IP? The idea I’m working on right now would give me a cat back set-up that would weigh (total) less than the OEM IP does on its own.

Numbers are approximate (don’t have my notes handy);

OEM muff (26 lbs.) + OEM IP (11.7 lbs.) = 37.7 lbs.

Exhale AB (8 lbs.) + Exhale IP (7.6 lbs.) = 15.6 lbs.

BR AB (3.7 lbs.) + Exhale IP (7.6 lbs.) = 11.3 lbs.

Thanks
Rick

...Exhale 70mm non-res IP (7.6 lbs.) + New Exhale AB (6.25 lbs.) = 13.85 lbs., and thats our final answer.

Tyler,

Just talked to Pete on the phone and I am going to order my throttle body and DP prior to the IP (mainly because my P@ flash already includes those upgrades). I was planning on the 70mm IP, how much lowder is that than stock since I already have the AB pipe installed. Don't want to sound like a ricer . Wish I could come to the shop and see this stuff!

I started with the Works throttle body and AB. That loudness was perfect in my opinion. Sounded good but not too loud.

I added the 70mm DP, and 76mm resonated IP and the system is significantly louder! I'm getting used to it, but is louder than what I had planned. Just my 2cents

The 76mm resonated IP might be better for you.

It won't be as loud, and the sound will be deeper.
