My P2

Just got my P2 flash from WORKS a few fridays ago. Tyler and Pete were very accomodating to me as I changed appointment times 3 times on them... ....sorry guys. anyway i got there and Tyler installed the vaccum lines for the P2 and uploaded the new flash onto the ECU. Total time took about 1 hour or so, that's with me talking with them afterward for a few minutes.

The power is very linear and smooth. the thing hauls all the way to 7K RPM (I havent gone past that point yet), the car hits boost like stock, but the power continues like that all the way to 7K. The power gains from the P2 feel equal to that of my old XEDE unit on the butt dyno, but the car feels smoother. In addition, after using one full tank, I can already tell I have gotten better gas mileage.

I recommend the P2 flash for anyone that wants that extra power, stealth look, and great customer service!

Thanks again Pete and Tyler

Good writeup. I noticed the same results. One additional thing was a little less turbo lag off the line.

I feel a smoother idle and the drop-down from throttle-lift isn't so bad... I've felt it close to stalling and haven't felt that since. I agree with everything else that's been said here. I wish my install only took an hour, though!

I did it myself and it was a bit rough for this not-quite-mechanic. Tore my hands up pretty well. Came in from the top. But, I wouldn't do it any other way. I now know alot more about my plumbing!

As an aside, I took FTD at a very small local autocross by less than half a second on a tight, 41-second course. I don't know how much the P2 had to do with it, but I'm certain that the smoothness and consistency of the power coming on, etc. helped at least a bit.

I'm pleased with the product and happy to know there aren't any tricks in fooling the safety features of my Evo involved in the flash I selected!
