a test pipe does not take much designing..... 2 flanges, one length of pipe and a spacer in between the pipe and o2 sensor so it doesn't read as much exhuast gas. Why does it take months to deisgn when you can go to an exhuas shop and they make it for you in an hour if you want.

I am just curious as to what there is neede to deisgn such a simple product. thnx

Well all I can say is props to WORKS for another great product. After receiving and installing our RTP all I can say is thanks to WORKS for taking their time and doing it right. The RTP fit perfectly and looks great polished out, which is the way ours came. Runs great, sounds great and no SESL, good job.

Just to clarify, ours has not given us a SESL, but that was with only one shake-down run of about 55 miles in the hills this past Sunday.

We'll see what happens this weekend when we head off to our next race, 77 miles one way to the event.

Can you install the test pipe if you do not yet have the intermediate pipe.

Yes, all of our Exhale components are completely modular. You can replace them one at a time, all together or every other one if you'd like

Not the best picture, but this is a side-by-side shot of the WORKS Exhale series vs. the OEM pieces.

Placed my order on the on-line store! Can't Wait!

Not going to throw any codes with this right?

ttiscio-

You may still end up with a SESL but there is a way to resolve this by adding spark plug anti-foul spacers to the rear O2 sensor. Jamie did a write up on this on another forum and the fix will make the light go out and stay out.

Go to any major auto parts store and look for HELP! products item #42009, "18mm Spark Plug Non-Foul Adapters". I'll let Jamie fill in the details.

We would expect to still see a SES/CEL with our pipe. This won't hamper performance. It just makes you aware that the emissions are not working properly (since there is not a catalytic converter in place).

WORKS does not offer a solution for this light, but I have used the anit-foul adapters on my own EVO with success. Just be careful as the sensor is now pushed out further and has a greater chance of making contact with objects both on and off the vehicle.
