mine just failed also, logged it and its stuck in full vacuum. Idles fine, cruises fine, goes lean in any kind of boost. I ordered an AEM 5 Bar.

Quick question, After installing the omni4bar I noticed my boost has went up from tuned boost 25psi 3port,, to around 28 psi did i do something wrong
And I also noticed that the Map Sensor Maps are highlighted Blue instead of black
dose that mean that they are not enabled,,

I have my settings for the 8895 rom in post #1, reading about -7 vac on ecuflash. Just installed an aem boost gauge with the 5 bar sensor, I’m reading -13 vac at idle. Car is a stock motor stock mivec cams. Do I need to adjust something to get them to match up? I assume the brand new aem gauge is the corrext one here need these to line up properly

Are they both in the same units?

Some gauges go to InHg in vacuum.

-13InHg is -6.4ish psi.

So that may be the case.

Idk about the AEM, but I've never seen the Omni 4 bar show the correct values for vacuum in Evoscan. I've heard others say that it's a limitation of the Omni sensor and I never really cared enough to look beyond that explanation. I've always just gone by what my actual boost gauge says for vacuum.

I’m thinking you are corrext. Boost matches the AEM gauge by 1 psi so I’ll call it good there

Evoscan is indeed PSI.

The gauge and MAP match. Just different measurements.

Is it still correct to disable to P0069 DTC on ROM 88590015. I just changed to omni 4 bar from stock and threw this code. Is it not possible to adjust the MAF setting so that they correspond to the new MAP sensor? Any known issues in disabling the code?

Are you running a pre-patched ROM? Or did you change the settings to account for the 4 Bar?

Hello everyone.

I need help here. I'm trying to use omni 4 bar map sensor in Evo 9 wagon Auto. I've created xml list below and found all MAP fault maps but MAP vs MAF Baro and MAP Comparison are different values to Evo9 and 8 roms listed by mrfred 162 and 4.00v

Anyone know what's the deal here?

<table name="MAP Scaling" category="MAP SENSOR" address="55cc" type="2D" level="1" scaling="uint8">
<table name="MAP Output" address="68c4" type="Y Axis" elements="9" scaling="Volts16"/>
</table>

<table name="MAP Fault Trig: Mid VE Max #1" category="MAP SENSOR" address="297e" type="1D" level="1" scaling="Volts16"/>

<table name="MAP Fault Trig: Mid VE Min #1" category="MAP SENSOR" address="295e" type="1D" level="1" scaling="Volts16"/>

<table name="MAP Fault Trig High VE #1" category="MAP SENSOR" address="2964" type="1D" level="1" scaling="Volts16"/>

<table name="MAP vs MAF Baro" category="MAP SENSOR" address="283c" type="1D" level="1" scaling="uint16"/>

<table name="MAP Comparison" category="MAP SENSOR" address="2838" type="1D" level="1" scaling="Volts16"/>
