Following up on this - no, I don't have those definitions. And as far as I know, these tables don't exist in the evo 9 roms.

Thanks for looking! I'll have to try my hand at dis-assembly this week.

If anyone else has these tables defined for the 8859 I'd appreciate it, if it exists on the rom:
  1. Idle Error
  2. Idle Error - A/C On
  3. Idle Stability Timing Control

Thanks!!!

I am on ROM 96530706 with Tephra's V7. Its an 05 MR that didnt come with an ICS from the factory. I use the TPS method to change between maps. Now I have the ICS icon on my instrument cluster and I have it set up in tephra to flash the ICS light when on the alternate map. However, it doesn't flash or light up. Do I need to add a bulb to the 05 cluster for this to work? Has anyone with an 05/06, that didn't come with the ICS setup installed, ever get this light to flash when on their alternate map? Any help would be appreciated.

TIA

I can't say I've tried to use that on a 05/06, but you can tell if it will work or not by checking the wiring.

First off, No ICS = no bulb. So you could always throw a bulb in there and see if it works.

I would be more concerned with the wiring being missing though. Need to at least check the PCM to see if you have a wire on pin 35. No wire, no way for the light to get grounded.
If the wire is there, then you need to see if the power and ground for the light are wired to the cluster or not.

I have an Evo7 which had the 98640016 ROM but switched to 90550701 (and loving it). I want to believe the 90550701/90550001 is universal for the manual 7s.

My 90550001 seem to work fine, but 90550701 doesn't even start the engine. What am I doing wrong?

So I just installed a JDM Evo 7 ECU into my GSR Lancer. Does Tephramod work on Evo 7 ECU's? From what I gather after reading the first page, it's for 8 and 9's only.

My ROM ID is 98640014

I'm not too great at understanding the compatabilities between the different ROMs

Can someone confirm that an AUDM evo 9 ecu originally with 88580714 can be flashed with 88590715 without any problems?

Yes it can be, there is generally issues that arise using non-standard roms, but these can be worked out by flipping peripherys.
