Regarding the changes needed to run 8859 on an AUDM:

Which ones if you don't mind? Is it just the fuel sensor and immobilizer? Is there anything else? And is there a way to get the ICS button to work for map switching via the tune?

Thanks!

Thanks, I will. For SD is it the 88586714? I can't seem to log 1 byte or 2 byte load with the 88586714. Is there another rom that doesn't use DMA/live?

My ROM ID is 98640014

I'm not too great at understanding the compatabilities between the different ROMs
90550701 V7 is an evo 7 Rom

Hi guys

Where can I find a JDM Evo 9 Rom file and associated bits ? On the front page I only see USDM Evo 9 and JDM/EDM/AUDM Evo 8 ROM files and XML packs.

Thanx

Hi everybody! I have a problem with my recently v7 flashed Evo VIII... I change everything from my oem rom to the v7 map... the car starts perfect and drives normal, little knock counts on 3 or 4 points that I didn't have with the other rom...

I was trying the launch map and it flashed the CEL so there is knock but I have to tune it... after two tries the car get the CEL on and never turn off... checked and it's the p0505... I have cleared it and today I was in 5ft gear about 2500 rpm and went on again... I've checked it and it's p0505 again...

The car do not have any problem at all.. the idle is at 850~900 and with the air stays the same...

What I have to do to get rid of this CEL? Everything is working perfect...

Have you tried resetting your biss screw with evoscan? Log the steps to see if its inline with your stock rom. I had to play with my iscv settings to stop getting the code.

I haven't touched the biss... I'll compare the logs tomorrow to see if I have to move the biss or the iscv steps...

Thanks...

XML's go in (directory where you installed it) OpenECU>ECUFlash>rommedata>Mitsubishi>evo

I did that, there's about 25 other XML files in there, do I delete every single thing in there and just paste the 1 XML required?

Don't delete the others. Just paste yours in there with the rest. ECUFlash automatically picks the appropriate XML(s).

Going to sound dumb as hell but I threw it into the correct folder, started it.. how do I know I actually did it correctly?
