I've been busy driving it Yeah this red put it down. No blow by anywhere car runs like a top. It doesn't even burn oil. It's crazy. I have 10k miles on it now. no drag times, but it gets beat hard in the canyons.

600hp on a Red? What boost level? (EDIT: Nevermind, see it was 35# max, then 32# at the line. Damn, that's sexy)

Didn't think the Red would fall off that much up top. How's the 2.3 without balance shafts? I'm going through the keep them/don't keep them debate right now.

This dyno plot deserves a new thread and a mod list.
I would hardly consider 637hp falling off out the top lol.

The SS housing is definitely helping with top end power in this setup. Aaron told me to expect less power up top if I build a 2.3 with the TS MHI housing in my red. But it will have better response down low. Always a trade off.

Sorry. I meant I was surprised that even at 60# a min, hp starts falling at 6500.

Would love to see a mod list and know specs on the head. Is this the new HTZ Red with the Xona center section?

I am asking all since a Red is sitting on my countertop and a stroker crank is in my closet

buncha other **** that prolly doesn't matter for power and i can't remember.

BS has got to go, thats why my last motor blew up.. i can't tell it is deleted at all, it feels no different to me...

if i could go back in time it would have been one of the first mods i did. (w/timing belt)

Probably a combination of using C16 instead of E85, and the turbo running out of breath or succumbing to back pressure. Still looks like an AWESOME powerband. A lot like a BBK Full or Blouch 1.0xt on a 2.0L, except the curves just got moved up...lol

The balance shaft spins at 2x the oil pumps speed. So at 8k revs all the time it siezed the bearing and the oil pump. Which wiped out my crank and rod bearings.
