05 MR with horrible grinding noise coming from trans/need advice!!

So the other day I'm on the way home from work, when I begin to hear what sounds like a grinding/bearing noise coming from my transmission. The sound does go away when I push the clutch pedal in, and is at it's loudest either on acceleration or deceleration. Also makes a lot of noise if my car is in neutral and I rev the engine, but go's away immediately when I press down on the clutch. I have a 6 puck ACT clutch with a Exedy flywheel. The clutch was installed about a year and a half ago and I have never had this kind of a grinding noise issue before. I have had the high pitch squeal that the clutch makes on take off that everyone complains about. I was leaning towards maybe a cracked flywheel or a internal trans problem. Anyone have any experience with this? Any feedback (constructive) appreciated.
.

What sort of power are you making, do you track the car, and does it make the sound in all gears? The 6 spd is notoriously weak, so its not at all unlikely the trans is internally damaged.

I don't track the car and haven't ever really launched it except a handful of times. I usually only get on it when the car is moving and never from a dead stop. I'm putting down right around 400hp.

Sound to me like the release/throwout bearing, when you apply the clutch it puts tension on the release bearing thats why it doesnt make a noise when engaged.
