clutch replacement
I'm going to be doing a clutch replacement soon as my stock is crapping out. I've read toms of posts from experienced and non experienced on what to replacement and not to replace. I've settled on a stage 3 competetion clutch with comp. Flywheel. My question is most I've read keep stock throw out bearing but should I change this as well?

People have mixed opinions on that, most people run the comp tob without any issues, but some have problems. I have a hydraulic tob, so I can't really give you any personal experience on it, but I've seen plenty of threads where this was debated.
The reason people go with the OEM tob over the comp one is that the OEM appears to be higher quality iirc.
Personally, I don't see a reason to not use the one that came with your new clutch, but just search some threads and you'll see more info on this debate than you've ever wanted to know.

When I swapped my clutch a few months back for a Comp Stage 2 sprung unit, I bought a brand new OEM TOB. I compared the Comp TOB to stock. The stock unit is beefier and a little more heavy duty. So I went with the stock unit and resurfaced stock flywheel. I also got the ACT monolock.

Well I have already ordered the flywheel. My reason for getting it was because I know my car was tracked and wasn't sure how beat on its been. I figured while I was in there I would replace both the flywheel and clutch. I guess the suggestion is still keep stock flywheel? Any reasoning for keeping stock?
