Time to show of my EVO!

Wats up guys I have been looking to join the evo game for a few years now and this forum has been a big help in helping me choose the right one for me.

I finally found an 05 SSL Tarmac Black with 30k original miles. JAM 2.3l stroker kit with a gt30r turbo kit amongst other goodies.

Gave me some problems at first but finally got it back from the shop today with everything running perfectly and I have to say these cars guarantee a grin ear to ear.

Here is a cell phone pic when it first came to the house.

Plan on doing suspension and wheels next any input would be great

I dont remember paying for a new intercooler so it mightve been previous owner? But he was an older fella that never really drove the car, cant see him modding it.

Ill get some better pics tmrw haha

Idk a lot of ppl recommended JAM kits as they were reliable. I think issues were with the company not the product??

I think the issues people had with JAM were in the past, and has since went under new management.. They have always had a good rep except for that short period of time but ive heard that things are great again, so no worries..

Good to hear haha. Although I have been having problems getting the car to start. Most likely not fault of the build but its nuts how temperamental these cars can be seems like one thing after another thats going...

Got it back Jul 5th and on Jul 10th you are having problems. You said it "everything running perfectly". Ok man my thing is this, I am guessing you spent your hard earned money and what do you get, 6 DAYS or less of a reliable car??? I see this so much from Evo owners where they accept that "its owners/car's" from performance shops, but if it was the dealership the attitude would be different as we would demand some kind of compensation or they fix the problem. But then again its your money and investment.......just don't settle and accept nothing less than 100% of what u think u deserve as their are many shops in the Evo community that does it right

No they said theyd look at it but theyre pretty backed up on work. It would take atleast two weeks before they can work on it. Its my daily so Id like to solve it before hand.
