Just wanted to introduce myself to the forum. My name's Kevin, I just bought a minty fresh 2003 AS Evo VIII, and am grinning ear to ear. I've wanted an Evo since they came out here and finally picked up a fine stock example of one. I used to own a 95 TSi AWD 5 speed so I've been in love with the 4G63 with AWD for the last 10 years. Anyway, that's all I've got for now.

 

So far so good. Fixed the passenger door rattle, made all the interior lights match, and have the following on order:

- OpenPort 2.0 with Mitsu harness
- Omnipower 4 bar MAP
- Innovate LC-1 w/ red gauge
- Revised HVAC gears

Next week it will get everything installed plus I'm making shifter base bushings and linkage bushings at work this week.

I could be wrong, but I think the OpenPort 2.0 is for the X only.

From what I've read you just need the peripheral cable for OP2.0. And thanks for the welcoming. I learned from my DSM to make sure everthing's running properly before even thinking of modding.
