Clutch squeal
Hey guys.
I own a 2001 Eclipse v6 but did not get much help on my forums and I check this place out for info on ectune so I figure it's worth a shot since we have similar clutches with a throw out bearing and all.
I just put in a Clutchmasters light weight flywheel and FX300. However, now when the clutch pedal is pushed all the way in, that is when the clutch is disengaged, there is a pretty good squeal. This is not the brief squeal upon clutch engagement that I've read about when ceramic clutches break in. It will just squeal and continue to squeal as long as the clutch pedal is pushed all the way down.
I pulled the tranny off and looked around. I did not see any evidence of anything grinding on anything so I'm very confused. Any ideas?

I was thinking TOB as well even though I had put in a new one with clutch install. So when going in the second time I replaced it with yet another new TOB and could not see any evidence of clearance issues. The pressure plate was was flawless. No scratches. Nothing on the flywheel but slight wear where the clutch engages.
Everything torqued down to spec.
Very frustrating.
