2008 and 2010 Evo x

Is their a big difference in the look of the 2008 Evo x gsr and the 2010 Evo x gsr cause I looked online and only difference is the hood and also is it a good idea to buy a used Evo x with 42k miles on it with all warranty.

For the GSR, I believe the only things that changed on the exterior are:

- taillights changed from all red to smoked black on the 2010
- side skirts were changed and are more pronounced on the 2010
- the 2010 has the sunroof available which the 2008 never had

I think that's it. I don't believe the hood changed in any way from 2008 through 2013.

Other guys will surely jump in here and add to this list if I've missed something.

Hood is the same. 2010 also has the fancy pants full color display between the tach and speedo.

Thanks I had a dealer ship offer me 27,500 for a Evo x gsr 2008 with 42k miles on it but I can probably make then drop it to 26,000 I just wanna know if it's worth buying a gsr with that many miles will I have a lot of problems with it and I drive about 5-8k miles a year.

So much depends on how the car has been maintained, whether there are modifications to the car, service and repair history, karma, how you behaved in high school, how it was driven, hair color, etc.

The point is, there are a number of variables to consider.

okay the car fax says that the car has been taken care of oil changes tire rotations all that stuff. car has been in a accident but less then 1000$ in damage was done and air bags didn't deploy
car only had 1 owner and hasn't been tuned or worked on.

Since you're in NY, you may want to check out Route 46 Mitsubishi over in Northern NJ. They have a few leftover 2011 models that you would probably buy for about the same price as what that other dealer is quoting you for a used 2008.

The accident wasn't head on damage was it? If it was might be something to really look at and check out carefully.
