issues with my car/tune
I have been working with a remote tuner for quite a while and I have been unable to successfully get my car tuned due to knock issues. I have quite a bit of work done to the engine (ill list the mods at the end of the post) Unfortunatly I am running 91 octane, however I put MS109 in my car and it still knocks. My car is a 2.4 long rod with 10.5:1 compression. I am running an EF4 turbo and my car is knocking at 18 pounds of boost, the knock usually starts around 5k then climbs all the way to redline, usually starts with 3-4 counts, then by 7k its at around 8 counts. I have checked for false knock and cannot find anything else that could be causing it. I recently broke my aem ugeo wideband sensor and replaced it, my AFR's are now showing 10.3-10.5 and I think they were higher before with my old sensor. My question is, can the rich AFK be causing my knock? The old sensor was new, but I guess it could have been a bad unit out of the box? I have been dealing with this for almost two years and its getting annoying as hell.
Mods:
Forged 2.4LR
Map EF4
Map 02 dump
GSC R2 cams
Curt Brown head
ported intake
mil.spec 65mm TB
ETS 4" IC and short route piping
ETS 3.5" exh
short ram tubular exh mani
FIC 1100's
Walboro 450
Speed Density
AEM adjustable FPR
I know 10.5:1 is high for pump gas, I built it to run e85 but have since moved to where it is not available. I feel like my car should be able to run spring pressure without knocking but maybe I am wrong. If anyone has any advice I would appreciate it.
Thanks

A little update, I did a pull 2500-7k and I had 0 counts of knock. The only change I made was going from rotella 5w40 to mobil1 5w30. I am thinking maybe the oil was to thick for my engines tolerances? I'm going to try a few more full rpm pulls to see if it was s fluke...

Small update, I set the boost to 21 psi and I'm seeing knock again at 5k+, but no more than two counts. My tune is not running much timing, 8 degrees by 7500. I'm going to try a few more pulls later then put some race gas in and see if the low counts disappear.
