How to get to the door speakers?

i will add to what crypto said:
remove the little "cup" that is on where you'd rest your arm if you were sitting in the driver's seat. there is a screw straight down in it. you will also need to remove the plastic that surrounds the door handle and the lock. be careful as there are tabs on there that you can break if you are not gentile.
after that it's just a matter of popping out the little plastic pieces that hold the door panel to the door itself. slide a flathead screwdriver up in there and pry a bit and they should release.

it's easy once you do it for the second time. you'll mess with it a little at first and be too gentile, but then you'll find out exactly where to press or pry and you'll be all set.
also be careful with your power locks/window wiring harness, you will need to disconnect this from the door panel to completely remove it. if you pop that assembly out just jam it back into place.
