Noise in auto shifter and steering column

Hey folks. Trying to find out if anyone has has the same problem with a 2011 gts with the continuous tranny? I was moving my car last night and when I put the car in reverse I heard something pop. Now When I press the brake and shift out of park it makes a clicking sound going into reverse and makes a clicking sound in the steering column itself. Only does this when the brake is pressed and shifting in reverse, not other gears. Doesn't do it while using the manual option or the paddles either . It's loud enough to hear and if you have the radio on you can't hear it and it's a little stiffer to shift out of park. It is still drive able and still under warranty(43k).

Anyone had this or heard of this?
