Newly installed evo cluster problems

I just installed a 03 Evo gauge cluster into my Lancer LS.. I decided to test it out and noticed that my tachometer was moving like the speedometer should and the speedometer wouldn’t move much when I was pressing the gas.. I know these two are in different positions in the Evo, but they should still work right? What do I need to do to fix this so it works properly?
