I thought Chris Harris and Sabine Schmitz were going to be involved in some manner? Or did that change already?

I think it is weird that they are trying to fill a void in a show that WAS pretty much Hammond, May & Clarkson with Joey from Friends, a guy has never seen, and the Stig.

I hope this new show burys TOP GEAR. I boggles my mind that they don't own the name told BBC to kick rocks.

what? if you're refering to Chris Evans as someone that nobody's heard of, everyone in the UK know's who he is... he's sorta like a late night show host in the US

And most everyone who is into cars (and thus would watch Top Gear) in the US knows who he is, too.

really? only thing I knew him from was when he did his 7 minutes on top gear... certainly not enough to give me any confidence in him as a top gear host, in fact the opposite...

You've never watched a /Drive video?

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC5r...3gYPZ593XwQUsA

He's basically a young Clarkson - british, witty, hoons the hell out of everything he drives. He'll be good on the show as long as the people with him don't try to change who he is.

^thats Chris Harris, I'm talking about Chris Evans

this guy:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chris_Evans_(presenter)

have you heard of this guy outside of his 7 mins on TG? actually now that I think about it, I think he was on there twice

Chris Harris I think would be an awesome addition to the Top Gear reboot and I think would actually give the new TG a really good chance. I mean his youtube vids are awesome, imagine what he can do with TG's budget... although races against the stig would be much more fair now, haha

anyway, Harris was only ever a rumor on various automotive sites, never confirmed by BBC or TG. Where as LaBlanc and Evans are on TG's website
