Maryland MVA EMISSION TEST!!! .. any undertable EMISSION TEST?

With all the aftermarket parts I put in my car, I'm deffinately can not pass the emission test.(just moved from NJ to MD) I'm wondering if anybody know where can i get it done by undertable around the area of Montgomery County in Maryland?

ps: please send a pm, I appreciate so much! Seems like MD state laws are more straight than Jersey

As long as you arent throwing codes when you go, you should be fine. They didnt even put the mirror under my car and I dont run a cat. All they do is hook up the computer to your car to see what codes you are throwing.

i know a dude in st. mary's who will do it. but really i would take my chances with the 50 or so dollars for a real inspection. especially if you are not throwing any codes.

I'm not even sure what that ^ means but as said above if your CEL isn't on you will pass. All they do is check your computer for trouble codes.

This is pretty much the truth. They usually just check the computer if its OBDII.

On another note, I went to my emissions test in the Mustang and told them the car was too low to go over the rollers. Two people checked underneath and told me to pull around and get my 2 year waiver. Apparently they didn't notice my lack of cats.

as long as you're on the stock ecu and you're not throwing CELs like everyone else says, you're going to pass. no questions asked.

If your paranoid about the no cat part, you can get cat heat shields welded to the test pipe and you will definitely have no prob even if they use the dreaded "mirror". Everytime I have been to the emissions station in Owings Mills, they have not used the mirror.

i have no cat and passed with flying colors. the best thing to do is make sure the car is to low for the rollers. Having a receipt that shows you spent $500 on repairs towards emission stuff does help but maybe I just lucked out with who was working. I went to the gaithersburg station for reference. They even used the mirors on my car and just gave me a two year extension.
