I am the original owner and purchased it new from Medina Mitsubishi of Ohio in December of 2006. It has a clean and clear title with no accidents. I have stored this car every winter since it was new. It has never seen snow and has rarely sees rain. Only the best parts were used to build this EVO. Almost every item was purchased directly through Buschur Racing. The motor runs great, doesn’t smoke, or leak any fluids. This is a true 800+ whp street car.
The car does still has full glass, door beams, etc. as well as power windows, locks, and mirrors. Headlights, turn signals, brake lights, 4 ways, and the horn all work as they should. I have removed the HVAC system as I do not drive it during the winter and the A/C had to be removed to work with the turbo kit. Removing the HVAC allowed me to custom mount the battery, ignition, fuse box, and ECU under the dash. The entire engine and front body harness were re-worked and cleaned up to give the bay a clean look. Other items removed include the ACD system, ABS & brake booster, power steering, wiper motor, air bags, radio & speakers.
KBB private party value for a 'stock' EVO IX w/ 18,514 miles is $27,098. It would cost close to $40k just to duplicate this build not including the cost of the actual car. I feel my price of $35,000 is a great deal for an 8 second, 165+ mph EVO. I will include my remaining supply of E98 fuel and an all-weather OEM car cover with the sale.
Currently the car is being stored for the winter. All E98 was drained and pump gas was added to ensure a safe/clean fuel system come spring. Interested buyers can hear the car run. But no joy rides!
