so i am extremely late in this thread but i have seen this car on different sites! firstly i must say that your fenders and fitment have come a long way since the first page of this thread! the fitment is perfect from those last pictures you posted of the stance meet!

the only thing troubling me is that you have put all this work into making your car fit the wheels instead of making your wheels fit your car! personally the car looks great but since its obvious that your prefer form over function why not go for new rims? i strongly recommend some taller wheels with less offset! you could even go wider and keep some offset! i didnt look through all the pages and therefore couldnt find your specs but here is some help!

and yes amby im still ignoring you! haha

i still dont believe my fitment is perfect ha but thanks for the compliment. and i just dont want to spend anymore more money on this car ha. and it wasnt all that much work. it just seems like it. its hard to find wheels that are 4x100 that fit my style and are as wide as i want ha. these were exactly what i was looking for except i would have liked them wider bigger and a little less offset. but they only came in 16x8 so i had no choice. but your dead on with the taller wheels with less offset i was looking but nothing with this type of wheel. i just bought these without looking to see if theyd fit or not. and made them fit. haha

you have come a LONG way with it as far as custom goes and not just bolting parts on! but i agree, if its not the build of your dreams and your arent a millionaire then wait for your dream project to drop and take your time with it! thats what i have done! i must admit silvias are fun and parts are abundant maybe you can play with one of those next! otherwise stat on this build and order your wheels custom! i am sure you can order any rims you want and order them for your lug pattern or have them redrilled! save money and research!!

That's exactly how I feel. After I ordered my most recent parts (the evo wing n stuff back in april) I quit after that. My car is making all kinds of noise and I don't even care. They are garbage for projects.

Just saw this thread for the first time... I dont think it matters if your first car that you are "learning" to mod on is a used cheap lancer or a high end BMW. You should learn to mod and do things the correct way. Why take a hammer to your fender to roll them when the correct way would be to use a heat gun and rent/use a fender rolling tool. You would probably learn more about how to do it, not get so much **** on the net and it would be a much better job... Thats what I dont understand about a lot of guys saying I did it "this way" (hack job) because they were learning. Theres no excuse really.

I like the stance once it was all done but as Amby was saying.. It was flush but not aggressive by any means...

As far as the Lancer being a project car.. It all depends what your into. Its not gonna win at the drags and its not gonna take most cars down on the highway but it can be made into a fun car to daily drive around town. I do enjoy mine.

A lancer is not a mirage. The 4g94 is the delicate wuss version of the 4g93. I wish they left it the 1.8. There are a ton of sick Lancers as well but it takes lots of $$$ for not a lot of gain compared to most cars.

^agreed with mitsuozboi. I like the lancer for what it is. Beats riding the bicycle in 100+ degree weather, that's for sure.

its not a 4g93 but the mirages always swap them out, an our chassis isnt much different, theyve swapped 4g63s and 64s with minimal modification
